About the Doctor

Dr. Marie Benkley, ND, MSCP

Pronouns: she/her/hers

I am menopause- and perimenopause-focused naturopathic doctor practicing in Portland, OR, as well as virtually throughout OR, WA and NH. I provide comprehensive menopause healthcare, treating bothersome symptoms such as hot flashes as well as addressing other areas of health that can be impacted by menopause, including mental health, sexual health, cardiovascular health and bone health.

As a naturopathic physician, I integrate natural and conventional treatment options to offer you the most evidence-based care, informed by the best research available and my clinical expertise. Treatment plans can include menopausal hormone therapy, non-hormonal medications, nutraceutical supplements and/or lifestyle interventions.

I maintain an on-going commitment to providing care that is patient-centered, collaborative and trauma-informed. I strive to listen deeply and work with you to develop a treatment plan aligned with your needs and goals. I am queer woman and am passionate about inclusive menopause care for LGBTQ+ people.

Outside of my professional life, I am a competitive powerlifter and outdoor enthusiast with a love of hiking, backpacking, climbing and riding motorcycles.
